Color Profiles and Print Settings

We are working closely with HP to profile and certify products from the Dietzgen Reprographic and Magic portfolios.  As soon as these are ready, (which can’t be soon enough) we will release them.  Selecting the right profile can impact not just the color and density of the print, but also the media feed settings which prevent jamming and curl.

HP ColorPro / (HP Brite White Profile) – This profile lays down a heavy inkload providing max color density.  This profile produces vibrant color and certainly higher color gamut than toner. Depending on the actual material and print file, the high inkload might cause cockle, bleed and poor shadow detail because of over saturation.

FIBERLOCK Profile (Actually named 70 gsm Plain Paper) This profile provide a significant ink savings with an optimized ink level that produces good saturation and expanded shadow detail for situations when ink savings, color range, gradient blends and tonal differentiation are more important than color saturation.
